The Everest Base Camp trek is the classic Himalayan trek taking you to the foot of the earth’s highest point and nearby magnificent mountain peaks, where warm Sherpa hospitality awaits the adventurer.

The Khumbu region is home to Mount Everest (called Sagarmatha in Nepali) which at 8848m is the world’s highest mountain as well as numerous other peaks including Lhotse (8514m).

First summited by Tenzing Norgay and Sir Edmund Hillary in 1953, Everest has traditionally been the ultimate goal for mountaineers. Today trekkers of all ages seek the challenge of reaching this famous mountain’s Base Camp. Flying in to Lukla, you will explore the mountains and valleys around the towering peak, rest in local Sherpa teahouses and learn about their traditions and culture.

The Everest area offers a variety of routes and your adventure can last anywhere from a week up to a month.
