Have you ever wished to be at two places at the same time? In this one-day tour, we will make your wish come true! First, we meet in Reykjavik, then hop into the lux jeep and take a drive directly to the Þingvellir, the place where North American and Eurasian tectonic plates meet. So, technically, your wish will be granted.

Þingvellir is not only famous for this exquisite geological phenomenon, but it also has a great cultural heritage, and it is a national park. After Þingvellir, you will have a chance to see one of the most popular sights in Iceland, the Great Geysir.

Enjoy a plethora of hot springs

Though the Geysir itself is rarely active nowadays, there are a plethora of hot springs and geysers, including the powerful Strokkur, Smiður, and Litli-Strokkur, from which Strokkur is probably the country’s most famous hot spring, shooting vast jets of boiling water from 20 meters up to 40 meters high.

You surely won’t be missing this incredible miracle of nature, as Strokkur erupts every five to ten minutes, so get your cameras ready ;).

When we are done with the geysers, the next stop is the iconic Gullfoss waterfall, which means “golden falls.” The water plummets down 32 meters in two stages into a rugged canyon whose walls reach up to 70 meters in height. On a sunny day, a shimmering rainbow can be seen over the falls.

Blue Lagoon, most famous Icelandic geothermal spa

After this remarkable waterfall, it is time for relaxation in the most famous Icelandic geothermal spa, the Blue Lagoon. The warm milky-blue water of this lagoon is rich in minerals like silica and sulfur and bathing in it is healthy for your skin.

So, you will not only be enjoying the pleasant temperatures (which are between 37°C and 39°C) and recreation of this swimming area, but you will also be nurturing your skin in this amazing mineral concentration.

After that, we will be heading back to the city, ending our journey all relaxed and content.

If you want to see as much of Iceland in a short period, then this tour is perfect for you and especially if you are planning a quick weekend in Iceland since this private tour combines the most visited destination in Iceland into one great combo tour.
