Drive from Tehran toward Alisadr cave (340 km) after visiting this stoning cave (about 1/5 hours) continue to Hamedan to have the lunch at the most top place in Hamedan ( Abasabad). After lunch, we will visit the Bo-Ali-Sina tomb and Ganjnameh.

 

Alisadr cave has so many waterfalls and a wide variety of beautiful features such as stalactites and stalagmites.  It also has about 2400m of in cave boating, therefore it is the biggest cave in the world from this respect. This cave has a lasting exploitation and protection management system.

 

Ganjnameh (literally 'Treasure Book') is so named because its cuneiform rock carvings that were once thought to be cryptic clues leading to caches of Median treasure. These days it's selfie central as groups of locals pose next to the inscriptions or in front of a nearby waterfall. The site, 8km from Hamadan's centre, is the gateway to hikes up majestic Alvand Kuh.

 

In 1036 the physician, mathematician and philosopher Ibn Sina (Avicenna) died on a journey from Isfahan to Hamadan, where he had earlier been a vizier. The monument currently standing, incorporating a library and museum, was erected in the 1950s on the site of an earlier tomb structure. The tomb of Qajar poet Abolghassem Aref is located in the courtyard.
