Namo Buddha is a Buddhist holy site hundreds of years old, where one of Buddha’s incarnations offered flesh of his own body to a dying Tigress with five cubs. A stone statue marks the site and there is an active monastery close by. Namo Buddha temple is situated atop a hill with stunning 360 views of the Kathmandu valley and beyond.

This trek offers the traveller the chance to escape the Kathmandu city smog and experience the ethnic Newari culture, Himalayan views and traditional Buddhist practices.

If you wish to take some time and experience some quietness, Namo Buddha, a Buddhist pilgrimage site, can help you achieve peace.
